The water you see in the photo is of my tap at home. The drink has always been, or rather, since the provincial capital, following the gradual transformation of the village, from rural tourism, it has an extensive water network that you are then fastened gradually all the houses and we all , from the village, we finally got the water in the house ^! ^ Before taking from the sink - at home we all had a bench-port or dry, some hooks, in a kitchen wall ( indeed for some it was still Meijon ) from which hung the buckets - it takes eive! grandparents told us and we children ran to the sink where water gushed chilled just right, cool in summer and warm (compared to the surrounding temperature) in the winter and we were competing to see who wore the fullest !
Since then, a handful of years, the village has changed its skin and now in the kitchens of some houses there are refrigerators with water dispenser American artificially chilled . no one goes to the sink, except for some tourist who thinks that water is different from that of the tap at home, perhaps because, what comes down from his cock city, does not trust his own, to robustly berla.Una widespread distrust throughout the peninsula as noted by ' multipurpose household survey conducted and published by ISTAT in "Environmental Statistics", Yearbook 2007 that tells us that, on average, in Italy, 40.2 out of 100 families do not trust tap water to drink. The data is consistent throughout, and patchy, varying from region to region and within themselves to change the number of inhabitants per municipality.
But here are some details:
- The ranking of regions by number of families suspicious, is headed by Sardinian families with as many as 70.6 out of 100 who do not trust drinking water at home, followed by Sicily and Calabria to 65.9 54.6, if the southern regions and major islands, which allege serious irregularities in the management of secular water services, one could expect a high percentage, less than expected and then to a certain extent surprising given the Tuscany and Emilia Romagna 51.9%: 42.1%
- The percentage of households that trust is inversely proportional to the number of inhabitants as the smaller the town the higher the percentage of residents who rely on their water supplied from the aqueduct: it is 25.9% in the towns below 2000 inhabitants, go to 37.8 in municipalities from 2,000 to 10,000 inhabitants, and stood at 44.3% in municipalities of 10,000 to 50,000 inhab. and stabilizes at a slightly lower figure, 43.0% for municipalities with population above 50,000.
- The regions with the lowest number of families suspicious? think of Lombardy? Wrong! Trentino Alto Adige are the exception with a given: 5.4 to 4.8 per Trento and Bolzano, then very detached Friuli-Venezia Giulia with 16.5% and the Valle d'Aosta with an unexpected 19.2.
- and Lombardy? In the face of alleged irregularity in the delivery of water by themselves 8.7 out of 100 families in its area, reflecting a relatively good service, well, say they distrust 39.6 out of 100 families well!
